Autograf – Simple (PLS&TY Remix)

Autograf Simple PLS&TY Remix

Autograf – Simple (PLS&TY Remix)

Earlier this summer, Chicago trio Autograf thrilled fans by dropping the fantastic chilled out track ‘Simple‘ together with vocalist Victoria Zaro.  Naturally, such an amazing track was going to be treated to countless remixes. Out of all of them, the one standout remix would definitely have to be created by up and coming producer PLS&TY.

The last we heard from him, he dropped his sweet track ‘Run Wild‘. And as great as that track was, this remix is just as good. While the original is a masterpiece in its own right, PLS&TY takes that and makes it even better. And the best thing is that he is releasing his remix as a free download. So grab your copy below and keep an eye for more of his big moves in the near future.

Skrillex & Habstrakt – Chicken Soup (MILIAN Remix)

Milian

Skrillex & Habstrakt – Chicken Soup (MILIAN Remix)

Milian takes to the bass to unleash a hefty remix of Skrillex and Habstrakt’s bass house hit “Chicken Soup.” His sound design and overall structure to this remix is completely out of this world. The drop features a screaming synth that more or less uplifts you to Milian’s high-standard level. He doesn’t, however, stop there. The producer continues taking us on a sonic adventure with his busy and revolving percussion rhythms. This remix of “Chicken Soup” is one that festival-goers hope is played at a festival.

Milian is a Los Angeles native who graduated from Icon Collective and made his debut at EDC Orlando after winning the Insomniac discovery project. Drawing influence from all kinds of genres of music has enabled him to evolve his own sound. Keep an eye out for more material from the young budding producer in the not so far future.

SQUNTO Releases “Deth Bounce” On Funtcase’s DPMO Compilation [Premiere]

I’ve gotten to the point where, after nearly a decade of listening to dubstep, I’ve just about heard it all. So when I get new tracks in my inbox, I’m no longer looking for the same old, same old. You need to be able to either improve vastly on something already done, or do something entirely new. Thankfully, the new SQUNTO hits on both of those pretty well.

The track starts out with a pretty standard, horror-themed intro, complete with orchestral strings and distorted synths. But really, it’s the drop that gets my attention and once you hear it, you’ll know exactly why. “Deth Bounce” isn’t just a name, this track really fucking bounces… a lot. And it’s glorious.

“I hit up Squnto after hearing his track Sayim and he sent me this work-in-progress idea called Deth Bounce. When I heard it I was like ‘Woah!‘ Started playing it in my sets and it went off, so knew I had to get it signed for the DPMO Compilation. Sick track!!” – Funtcase

Check out “Deth Bounce” below!

Anna Lunoe is Officially a Mom to the Cutest Little Girl, Willa [PIC]

Anna Lunoe just welcomed her baby girl into the world and we can’t even with the cuteness levels right now!

The incredible DJ/producer shared a beautiful snapshot of the mother/daughter duo straight from the hospital. “Her name is Willa and we are completely in love with her,” she captioned the sweet moment.

The new mom first shared the news of her pregnancy 5 months ago, just before her Coachella performance. Sporting a teeny bikini and a little baby bump, Anna declared, “Good news! ur gonna get 2 lunoe’s for the price of 1 all summer long!”

And, that’s exactly what we got — carrying a child didn’t seem to slow down Lunoe one bit — playing hype show after hype show throughout her pregnancy.

Congrats Anna Lunoe! And, congrats to baby Willa for having a bad ass mom!

Diplo Mourns the Loss of His Pet Chicken Michelle, Seeks Revenge Against Rat or Raccoon

If you know anything about Diplo, then you know how much his chickens mean to him… and absolutely devastating news for the DJ/producer has stricken with the sudden death of one of his deeply loved farm animals.

“One of my chickens died today [face with tear] rip chicken,” Diplo sadly tweeted. “I think a rat or raccoon killed it, I’m out for blood.”

In an Instagram post, Diplo shared a sentimental note to the deceased chicken: “I’ll miss you Michelle. You brought me a lot of joy but you[‘re] probably better off in god’s coup up in the sky with endless feed… Rest In Peace.”

Hopefully all chickens go to heaven.

We’re All Human – Falling Away [Free Download]

The LA based producers We’re All Human have delivered yet another stunning tune. They have surely solidified their signature sound of jazz influenced bass music with this release titled “Falling Away“. Combining a jazz flute with some of the grimiest bass you’ve ever heard makes for a winning combo. This track has been on repeat since day one.

The tune begins with a far away saxophone noodling over a piano chord progression. The track begins to pull at the listeners heart strings as a male vocal comes in to say that he’s falling away. Almost as if the flute is a hand reaching out to help him, the flute dances across the evolving cinematic background. The drop is a perfect contrast to the peaceful introduction as squelching bass wubs rip through the listener’s speaker as the jazz flute carries on.

Check out the phenomenal tune below:
