Due to recent issues with metadata and asset compliance, all new content deliveries via Deugene Music are now subject to a mandatory 10-day manual review period by their team. This means:
Delays are expected: Plan releases at least 10–14 days in advance to account for review.
No instant approvals: Even minor errors (typos, artwork specs, missing fields) will trigger rejections.
Zero tolerance for repeats: Further infractions may result in account termination.
Why This Happened
We flagged inconsistencies in our catalog (e.g., incorrect metadata, missing assets, or policy violations).
What You Must Do Now
Pre-Check Everything
Use DSP Guidelines (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music) before submitting.
Validate ISRCs, artist names, and cover art (3000x3000px, no blurry text).
Submit Early
Need a release live by a specific date? Submit 10+ days prior to the review deadline—not the go-live date.
Monitor Rejections
We will email reasons for rejection. Fix and resubmit immediately.
Key Reminder
Accuracy > Speed. A rejected delivery wastes more time than waiting 10 days. Double-check:
℗ & © copyright fields in audio/files
Featured artist spellings (e.g., “feat.” vs. “ft.”)
Explicit tags ([E] vs. [Clean])
